Education in Diverse Societies

This course provides an introductory overview of education in diverse societies and global world. We begin by explaining the term ‘globalization’ and then will look at the concept ‘globalization of education’. Then the global education networks and discourses will be analyzed in the course. We will look at how education is being used as a tool for the marketing of knowledge. In the end, we will have a look at the implications of the global education in culturally diverse societies.
